Adrian Sarchet visits Melrose

Melrose had a real treat when Adrian Sarchet "Sea Donkey" came to talk to them about his ocean swims. The Juniors were enthralled to hear of his battles with jellyfish, shark infested seas, sunburn, fatigue, exhaustion, sea sickness and so much more. He made it very clear that working as part of a team is what has helped him achieve his great successes and that he had to use all the Melrose Mindsets to get him through the tough times, on the swims themselves and in the training too.

He has promised to come back when he has completed the seventh and final of his ocean swims. We can’t wait!
