Michaelmas Term

Winter or summer uniform may be worn at the start of the Trinity term but summer uniform is compulsory after May half term.
Watches
Girls are allowed to wear inexpensive watches or Fitbits which should be marked with their name. Apple watches are not allowed. The School accepts no responsibility in the case of loss. These should be unobtrusive and in a plain colour.
Earrings
Only plain gold or silver studs are allowed, and these must be removed by the child for P.E lessons. Alternatively, they may be covered in tape or left out on P.E days.
Hair
Hair which touches the shoulder must be tied back. Hair Bands/scrunchies must be plain green, navy, brown or black or striped to match the summer dress.
Naming
ALL items must be clearly marked with embroidered/iron-on name tapes unless otherwise specified.
Uniform Chest
The Melrose PTA offer second hand uniform for sale at various points throughout the year.
Stationery
Girls are expected to bring a small pencil case with basic items of stationery to school. These items should be named.
Reflective wear
Reflective armbands or belts may be worn to and from school when walking or riding on the roads on dark winter mornings or afternoons. They may be obtained from cycle shops.
Devices
If your daughter is in Form II or III and you are considering purchasing a device for her to complete homework, please contact our IT department for advice on the best device to purchase by emailing IThelp@ladiescollege.ac.gg
