We hold separate Curriculum Evenings for Key Stage 3 (Remove, Lower Four and Upper Four) and for Lower Five. In each evening we focus on some of the priorities within the College and the contribution that they make to delivering a broad and balanced curriculum that gives opportunities, prepares students for future studies and the world beyond, and meets our aims:
We always include a presentation on eSafety and on the Learning Support provision to update parents in these areas. One or two academic departments, on a rotation, will explain how they contribute to the curriculum. Past presentations have also included the PSHCE support and contribution, our Digital Strategy including preparing students with future skills, Independent Learning, Assessment and Reporting and the use of Evidence Informed Learning Strategies by teachers and students. The Lower Five Curriculum Evening has a particular focus on preparing for the GCSE years including managing your own learning and target setting.
