There are many opportunities for our pupils to undertake independent research that revolve around recent events linked to natural disasters or conflict. Students are also encouraged to incorporate ICT into their work which helps support other subjects as well. They often research topics in small groups and are encouraged to present their ideas and findings in a variety of ways. The presentation and analysis of maps, photographs, diagrams and graphs is also an important part of the geography course in all years.
