Top tips for Science

1. Do experiments at home
2. A good scientist asks questions
3. If the experiment goes wrong, don't give up. Many significant discoveries have come from experiments that have 'gone wrong'.
4. Teach the family what you have been taught e.g. Grandad, Auntie, your brother or the dog.
5. There is science in everyday life. Find it and appreciate it.
6. Don't accept what you read in the media without thinking about the science involved.
7. Don't be afraid to ask for help.
8. The best way to revise science is to practise answering questions
9. Identify command words in questions such as state, explain, describe before answering the question.
10. Always show your working when doing calculations or when finding information from graphs and don't forget to include units.
