Some of our youngest girls became teeny-tiny pizza chefs recently when Pre-School went Italian.
The girls spent a week learning about Italian food and culture, the highlight of which was visiting The Italian Job pizza restaurant. There they rolled dough, made pizza bases and covered them with toppings before enjoying the delicious results.
Back at Pre-School the girls opened their own Italian restauant serving pizza, pasta and yummy ice cream. They looked at pictures of Italy on the smart-board and welcomed Italian visitors.
The girls also made their own homage to the Leaning Tower of Pisa by building leaning towers of marshmallows which were fixed together with white chocolate glue.
Viva Italia!
