On Monday 17th November Melrose Form III took part in the second De Putron Challenge for Year 6 pupils. The Melrose Masterminds lived up their name and won their heat to gain a place in the final.
Though our team led for most of the final they were just pipped at the post in the last 2 rounds and finished in a very close third position behind St Mary and St Michael and Hautes Capelles.
The team of Darcey Ellis, Léonie Tustin and Lailie Platt-Ransom (and reserve Rachel Dawson) were brilliant, they showed amazing knowledge in all rounds especially sports, science, current affairs and in the picture rounds.
The Melrose supporters from Form III and Form II were easily the most enthusiastic in St James and received special praise from the organisers!
