Monday 14 December
Today Melrose School Council held their annual 'Christmas Jumper Day' in support of their chosen charity; Unicef. Much fun was had as the girls met in the Hall to sing and dance along to Christmas tunes. The Council gave an assembly to remind the school of the reasons behind our fundraising and how they continue to support children less fortunate than themselves through Unicef. The target of £130 was exceeded and the girls are looking forward to providing a 'School-in-a-box' to those children affected in an emergency situation so that they do not lose their right to an education in those extreme circumstances.
