Friday 23rd October
It has been a busy day for our students today, with our end of half term Commemoration Service, celebrating the College’s history, having taken place. Looking to the future, we are also excited to have buried five time capsules in the foundations of our new extension – part of the Phase 3 building campaign which has been ongoing since July 2015. Inside each capsule is a selection of information and artefacts about College life, which were prepared by our Brock, Carey, Durand and De Sausmarez houses. The fifth box has been prepared by Melrose and captures an insight into the College from when the girls first join us as ‘peas’ in the Pre-Preparatory Department. We look forward to seeing the new build rise above the hoardings, knowing a little bit about life in the College today is right at the heart of it.
