Tumaini Fund Sew and Stitch charity event

Members of our Upper Sixth recently gave up their Saturday morning to help make washable hygiene kits for girls in East Africa. The Leaf Centre was a hive of activity as the girls worked as a team to make the kits and help girls in Tanzania have the confidence and means to stay in school throughout their periods. Our girls were impressed as to how they could make such a significant contribution so easily and enjoyed putting their sewing skills to the test.
