Observatory Trip
On Monday night Lower Four visited the Société Guernesiaise Observatory. Students enjoyed a talk about the solar system and the various celestial bodies we can see in the night sky. When the clouds parted, students were lucky enough to observe the Orion Nebula, Venus and even the Andromeda galaxy, which is over 2.5 million light years away! We were also treated to a fly-by from the International Space Station.
