Leicester Tigers visit The Ladies' College

Upper Four were treated to a training session from the Leicester Tigers community rugby coaches, Joe and Chris, who are visiting the island's schools this week.

The rain did not deter their enthusiasm as the coaches put them through their paces along with 2007 Rugby World Cup finalist Mat Tait.  All of the year group joined the session on the sports field and had great fun learning about rugby tackles and other moves.  Mrs Le Maitre, Head of PE, said "It was a wonderful opportunity to give the girls and the coaches made the training session lots of fun in spite of the rain and muddy field."
