Chinese New Year in Pre-Prep

This week in the Pre-Preparatory Department we have focused on Chinese New Year and the Year of the Rabbit. We have had lots of fun, including having our very own Chinese restaurant where lots of noodles and chopsticks have been eaten and used, we have taken part in Lantern making, and Chinese Fan making in Forest Schools. We tried Dragon dancing and did a Happy New Year Chinese dance, had a challenging Chinese number scooping game and dragon making with playdough and blocks, and so much more! We have also listened to Chinese music every day and feel like we have now truly celebrated the arrival of the New Year of the Rabbit ......another busy week of fun and adventures in Pre-Prep.
