Mr Chêne followed a course in English Studies & Linguistics in Grenoble (France) he has lived over three years in the United Kingdom where he studied Nottingham, Liverpool and Lancaster. He also taught French to Primary School students in Preston to International Baccalaureate (Post-16) at Dallam International School (Milnthorpe). In 2011, he relocated to Guernsey to teach French and Spanish at the Guernsey Grammar School where he became Second of Faculty in 2018 and IB examiner. He has a passion for coaching teachers and received an Outstanding Teacher Certification from Osiris Educational in 2015. While completing his Masters' Degree in Education, Mr Chêne was also part of the Curriculum Design Team behind the Bailiwick Curriculum launched in 2017 across all states schools of the Bailiwick and worked for the Education Office as Curriculum Assistant for Learning and Development.
He has a passion for lifelong learning, loves new technology (Google Certified Educator) and languages. He speaks English, French, Italian and Spanish fluently, as well as a little bit of Russian and British Sign Language. He believes that developing a love of learning is paramount for achieving one's ambition to develop well-rounded individuals that will tackle the challenges of tomorrow.

Mrs Feldmesser graduated from the University of Rennes 2 (France) and the Westminster Institute of Oxford Brookes University in Oxford. She teaches French across the board and also Spanish KS3. She is very enthusiastic about the benefits of learning languages. She is an active teacher aiming to help students to achieve their true potential.

Mrs Chanter’s love for languages started during her school years when she studied Romanian, French, Latin and English. After obtaining her first teaching qualification in Transylvania in 1999, Mrs Chanter moved to Paris and followed her dream of using her language skills and has since then continuously evolved as a linguist and as a professional. She has obtained a degree from the prestigious university of Sorbonne Paris and a Spanish certificate from Leeds Metropolitan university. Through hard work, commitment and dedication Mrs Chanter became Head of French in a high achieving secondary school in England and has gained valuable experience in this role before relocating to Guernsey. A true linguist with a passion for languages, Mrs Chanter teaches French across the board and Spanish up to IGCSE.
