This half term our cooking has had a Christmas theme. We all baked gingerbread houses in moulds. The following week the class was a builder’s yard with house gables, walls and roofs all being held together with icing. Our windows were the finest jelly tots - and not a single window was eaten before the final roof slate was laid.
The girls were delighted with the results and my grateful thanks go to Mrs Bracegirdle for having the fabulous idea and Mum icing crew- Mrs Bacon, Mrs Platt-Ransom and Ms Podger.
Mrs Maynard and I were encouraged to have an 'icing off'! Congratulations to Mrs Maynard to her fast fingered piping!
Mrs J Kinley
The houses all look delicious girls! Well done.
