A team of Upper Sixth girls organised a murder mystery evening last Friday and made a profit of £730, which they will be donating to their adopted charity, the Tumaini Fund.
They deserve many congratulations, not just for raising a tremendous sum of money, but also for pulling off a pretty complex event which included catering for 50+ people (involving negotiating discount rates with various food suppliers), a raffle with seriously good prizes (which also involved phoning and visiting local businesses) , and of course theatre (which involved some, very memorable staff performances!).
Thank you to everyone who was involved and supported this creative and unusual event. The prefects have set an admirable bar for others to aspire to!
