On Saturday Melrose Hall was alive with the sound of laughter and christmas music. It was the Melrose Christmas Fair. The girls and parents had created the most amazing stalls with such brilliant imaginations, from "Help i'm a Melrose Girl, get me out of here", lots of gunk to stick your hands in, to "Poo in the Loo", which I think may have been a favourite with a lot of the visitors, it was certainly a busy stall with much hilarity.
Mrs Claus Cafe was a haven of calmness and peace with a welcoming warm drink and delightful eats.
Mrs Travers Buskers kept us entertained with wonderful festive music throughout the morning, finishing with the Choir from Mrs Anthony.
To top the day off, we had a visit from the Man in Red himself, he managed to fit us into his busy schedule and with the help of his elves, boys and girls visited telling him what was on their Christmas lists.
It was a hugely successful morning and much fun was had by all.
Well done to all the parent helpers, girls and our fantastic PTA.
