Form II enjoyed a sunny trip to the Victorian Walled Garden this afternoon during their final Forest School lesson of the term. The girls have been enjoying learning about planting and growing thanks to the Waitrose Grow Boxes. They have successfully planted lettuce, beetroot, peas, basil, courgettes and strawberries. This afternoon they enjoyed seeing all these vegetables and more being grown. They had a chance to plant their own beans in milk cartons to take home as well as learning how to grow the largest pumpkin. At the end of the session the girls were put to work and thoroughly enjoyed weeding and using the hoes.
