Arts in School Project

Visitors and all members of The Ladies' College community will notice that a new display is up in the foyer featuring the Victor Hugo pen and ink portrait by local artist OLYMPIA McKEWN.

This has been kindly loaned to us by 'ARTS for GUERNSEY' until Christmas, as part of the "ARTS FOR SCHOOLS PROJECT".

This is an amazing opportunity for the local schools to have amazing pieces of artwork by many well known (alongside unknown) artists displayed in prominent locations in the school where everyone, pupils, staff and visitors can enjoy them.

We are due to have some more pieces next term by Magritte and Ferdnand Leger, so keep an eye open for part 2 in the New Year!
