Who says that geography is just colouring in? Upper 6 have been looking at urban morphology by using skittles to show how geographers have interpreted patterns of urban form through landuse models. Placing Skittles onto the urban landuse models allowed them to show how landuse changes as you move out from the central business district or along transport links, but also how density changes too. They were then able to apply the bid-rent theory to see how land values are also affected by distance from the CBD as well as eating a few Skittles along the way!
