Visit to Candie Museum

On Monday afternoon, as part of our history topic Middle Prep went to Candie Museum to look at the old toys. Miffy showed us several Victorian toys including a Cobo Alice, a penny wooden and a clockwork dog.  We all had a turn with the Helter Skelter marble game. Holly got the highest score of 16. One of our favourite toys was Archie, the acrobat. We were also able to play with some old toys in the discovery room. In school we have made some hand puppets and some thaumatropes.
